As Statewide Director of Contract Education for the California System for Economic Development for Community Colleges, Catherine Swenson's expertise is in designing solutions for employers, performance consulting, process management, project planning, and organizational development. She has worked with the California Community Colleges, several school districts, companies such as Hewlett-Packard, COMTEK, Tri-Continent Scientific, NEC Electronics, Zytek, California Division of Forestry, the California Conservation Corps, Placer County, and Nevada County.

Catherine has experience in performance analysis, human performance technology, needs analysis, process improvement, project management, and organizational development. She is also a skilled facilitator and trainer. She is certified in Total Quality Management and Performance Improvement. She holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
